The clerk was exceptionally friendly and anxious to tell us about the surrounding area and attractions, as well as about the continental breakfast.
Ceiling in our room (#15) was water stained. Not a big deal, but thought I'd mention it.

Great price. Helpful staff. Friendly. I stayed there rather than stay at the Gaylord Convention Center which is 3 x as expensive. The cab to Gaylord was only $10 -so it was great savings.
Hard to walk there from downtown Alexandria due to bridge having no footpath. Usually I walk everywhere. I was able to walk, but had to take quite a roundabout path. Most people would probably prefer cab to this motel.

The room was great and we actually had a private parking spot around back, right outside our room. The continental breakfast was all right, but nothing special. There's also very little around the hotel in walking distance. But for the price and proximity to DC it was great.
The room did not have a coffee maker, though there is coffee in the (very small) motel lobby.

My husband got sick so we left a day early and they did not charge us for the extra day
They had a shuttle to the train but on the return could find a bus that was going our direction walked through an area that I did not feel safe i

The luxury of the room (large, cozy, and with great beds). When you need a room with two (double) beds: ask for room 39!
A 'Continental breakfast' is more than a couple of donuts! Internet signal is very weak (at least in room 39; in room 16 it was much better).

It's only a 15 minute walk to the metro.
The location is right on a major thoroughfare, so it can be noisy at night.

Very helpful staff, free breakfast, clean comfortable room, free ice available, free shuttle to the metro

It was convenient and affordable.
There was lots of traffic noise. I certainly would not call it a continental breakfast - just coffee, juice, and store bought donuts. Room was clean, but they need to do some remodeling. Remodeled bathroom was very nice!

I like the motel because it was close to the Metro and strip malls. It was a 5 minute drive by car. Yes, you need a car if you planning to stay here. The mini-refrigerator and microwave in our room was great.
This motel is really old. I didn't feel secure with just an old key lock door. The area is good, but really close to the highway.

The man who greeted me at the counter was super helpful and friendly :d The internet was very handy. The bathroom was new and very clean.
The location was not all that convenient if you do not have a car.

Staff are friendly
Location is a bit inconvenient if without a car, since there is not an easy way to walk to Old Town Alexandria. Huntington metro station is at 15 minutes walk.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating! There were few frills, but was very affordable and we didn't need frills, just a clean bed and bath. Hotel was short, easy driving distance to/from National Harbor where we had a convention. Hotel was within walking distance of excellent and reasonable buffet restaurant which also had weekend breakfast/brunch buffet.
Electrical outlets could have been more accessible. Would have liked more of a fruit selection for breakfast--bananas every day. For diabetics like me, the orange juice offered and bananas are a high/fast sugar-producing combination. Advertising with consistent name would have saved me some money--could have gotten better rate if I could have found hotel number on line to call directly.

location to old Alexandria and the D.C. Metro; there were MANY restaurants close by!
(Some) traffic noise.........not an issue, though

The shuttle service to the metro. The staff very friendly and helpful. Not too far from mini mart and restaurants.
The decor is old and weary. Had microwave and fridge in room but no crockery or cutlery.
